The following has been put together to make your evening enjoyable and to keep us all within the guidelines that we are all required to comply with. We look forward to receiving you, but please not before 4pm, Live Music from 5pm.

Directions can be found on the Hambledon Vineyard website: www.hambledonvineyard.co.uk

Please do not approach or exit via East Street, Hambledon as the street is at the best of times congested and it will help retain the goodwill with the villagers. Signage will be in place for Entrance and Exit.

Hambledon Vineyard is a commercial Vineyard with lots of activity: Vineyard Tours and ‘Dine in the Vine’.

The forecast for Saturday is forever changing, but seems to be stabilising to be sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. With the recent hot dry weather and rain, the walk and track ways and parking area is a hard Chalk surface with a slippery surface, when wet – Please wear appropriate footwear and take care.

Parking is signposted. Volunteers from the Charities will be present to provide guidance and the pedestrian route to the Arena will be signposted. The entrance into the arena will be through a Gazebo where you will need to complete Track & Trace and your electronic tickets will be scanned.

Where pre purchased, you will be provided with dedicated vouchers to exchange for food from Fritto & Via.

The Marquee from which the performers are performing is on a raised platform that tapers to meet the grassed hillslope and surrounds. Based on the current restrictions people will need to observe Government guidance and be in their own group bubble with a distance between bubbles of 2 metres. There is adequate room for everyone to spread out on the surround grass, see and hear the performances and enjoy being close to the vines and the far reaching views across the Hampshire Hills.

We suggest that you bring a thick picnic blanket, or chairs. We ask that the views for everyone is maintained by not pitching Gazebos and the vineyard is a no smoking site.

The Toilets comply with social distancing. An Anti-Viral Electrostatic Disinfection spray has been applied to them, clinically proven to sanitise and disinfect all surfaces and removing the need to clean between each use. There are sanitising stations on site and First Aiders will be circulating.

Quality Take-away food vendors are organised and will be located in the Arena directly selling Pizza, Fish and Chips, Seafood options as well as Cheeseburgers. Vegetarians have been catered for. A Coffee Barista vendor and Strawberries and Cream will be available. The Vineyard is providing a Bar serving a Hambledonian and local Beer etc. You are welcome to bring a Picnic and Soft drinks only.

For Purchases we suggest that as well as Cards, you have adequate Cash.

Josie Florence and Isle of Wight Youth Jazz Orchestra are playing in various combinations from 5pm through to around 7:30pm, with Beverley Craven supported by the Saxophonist Frank Mead, playing from around 8pm until the Sun sets. We are hoping for a glorious red setting sun as a backdrop, have a wonderful time.

There will be volunteers to indicate direction for parking.  On exiting, at the end of the evening we ask that you follow the guidance from the volunteers.
