“On the Day”

Gates will be open at 4pm, promptly, with Music from 5pm

We kindly ask that all drivers visiting our vineyard enter Hambledon village from the East.  This will help in not congesting the Village further and ensures that residents and all parties remain at peace

Directions can be found on the Hambledon Vineyard website

There is plenty of parking and whilst the location of the parking is yet to be finalised, it will most likely be within 100 metres of the stage arena.

There will be volunteers to indicate direction for parking.  On exiting, at the end of the evening we ask that you follow the guidance from the volunteers.

Venue and Entrance

Please be aware that this is a working vineyard with chalk surfaces and changes in ground surfaces, please wear appropriate footwear.  There has and is some works going on in the route leading to the stage Arena, whilst this may sound off putting, this is more about setting expectations.

We will have a listing of all ticket holders and those with an electronic ticket on their phone we will be able to scan.

Arena, Stage and Space

With the ongoing issues with Covid variants, we do not know at this stage, what, if any social distancing measures will require to be put in place – we are ‘tracking’ and following guidance.

The Stage / Arena is a large raised open area in which there will be an open sided Marquee and low level stage.  Everyone should have full opportunity to see as well as hear the performances. Professional sound technicians are supporting the event.

There is plenty of space to social distance around and on the raised area with your blankets, seating and picnics.  Please space out sensibly. Whilst there is no seating provided, there is plenty of space and you are welcome to bring a rug / chairs, picnic, soft drinks (No Alcohol) and to soak up the atmosphere.

The nicest Toilet facilities have been hired in for the event.  Hand sanitizer will be available.

Food and Drink

This is a no smoking venue

As previously, you are welcome to bring your own picnic, food etc, soft drinks – Please No Barbeques and please ideally take any packaging home.

The Vineyard are providing a stocked bar that will provide benefit to the charities and so we ask that you respect this by not bringing your own alcohol into the venue. We reserve the right to refuse entry to those seeking to bring / drink their own alcohol into / at the venue.

Food Concessions:

The following food concessions have been organised :

  • Artesian Pizza
  • Fish and Chip Seller
  • Coffee Cruiser
  • Licensed bar operated by the Vineyard
  • Strawberries and Cream
  • Potentially Ice Cream vendor

Hog Roast and Hambledonian ticket option:

We are in the process of finding a way forward for those that have purchased the ticket option that includes a Hog Roast and a Glass of Hambledonian.

The Hog Roast vendor organised has had difficulties and sadly is unable to provide.  A reputable Fish and Chips seller has been sourced as a substitute.

At this time for those that bought this ticket option, the intent is that we will provide 2 unique multi use vouchers on entry, enabling each voucher to be exchanged to provide a glass of Hambledonian and a comparable food option.  When finalised we will be individually contacting these ticket holders to apologise.

The option to purchase food as an advance ticket option will be relisted soon !
